Remove 0000 fine wool for polishing steel and chromium, used / smooth out the rusted areas. Make sure everything is clean before you start. Once started, manipulate Besur to the steel wool so as not to wash the area with fine particles of chromium, chromium again. What makes steel wool can scratch the chrome, if not the way to a new part of the buffer. The oil is in the carpet of steel wool will terminate at the surface of the steel from oxidation for one or two weeks. Chrome is polished to last much longer in order to protect the steel against reoxidation.

In many ways, your choice:

Servers send Lime and Rust Remover

fine steel wool and elbow grease.

Ball on a sheet of aluminum foil and wet w / water or soda (Coca-Cola, Pepsi or Dr. Pepper) and rub the rust. (not a chemical in the soda eats rust)

After removing the rust, you want your legs clean and keep them clean.

for cleaning up:
Moisten a new or used dryer sheet (like Bounce rub) and chromium, until it is needed.

Steel wool cloud chromium - use it!

Search SIMICHROME Polish. It comes in a tube and can be found in hardware stores and most (?) Bike shops.

It can not get rid of the sting, but very clean, rust and actually do what you have Chrome is good.

Good luck.
